L/O: To develop an effective film marketing strategy
I would release my disaster film in the later end of July. This is because the majority of younger people who I believe this film is more aimed at will be off of school as it is the summer. This means younger people will be able to go see the film throughout the whole of summer causing the film to gain traction through socialising as well as if it is enjoyed it will get talked about.
1) Warner Bros. Pictures advertised Tenet alongside Hobbs & Shaw, Indian showing of Joker, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This is because Tenet in trailers is displayed as mostly action which is what most of these films are.
2) The Indian audience for Tenet is difference to the western as the darker themes would appeal to them more.
3) August 2019 was when the first teaser was shown, then in December a full trailer was shown attached to the Star Wars film. A TV spot appeared that was promoted by Fortnite.
4) The TV spot was different as it was advertised in a game possibly due to the pandemic or to get younger people interested.

- Pull a stunt around a event like Children in Need or a Football final, such as jumping out of a plane
- Collaborate with a game such as COD giving items like weapon skins in a Bond Event
- They could do a collaboration with a watch company like Rolex or Omega
- Do a partnership with a clothing company to make James Bond style suits
Near release date there is an interview with Dwayne the Rock Johnson who will talk about his expierence on working on the film. Possibly pay youtubers to interview actors
Great notes and good ideas
