Equilibrium

Similar to our current world people live peacefully politicians get elected, kids go to school and workers work. The world is what is considered normal from an overall perspective with the problems any place has hidden around. It may not seem it but the world is calm. But in China something was beginning, something which would affect and span across the world due to a singular scientists great mistake.

Disruption

China suffered from a problem of an overwhelmingly elderly population and these people for the most part do not work. 7 years ago a Doctor from England named Mark Smith was hired by the Chinese government due to his expertise and genius in his field of science and understanding of the human body. Smith was hired for darker reasons than the world would know, but they were not reasons he disagreed with. Having no family left and his only friends in England being work ones out of a mutual benefit he moved to China taking the job. Smith was developing an illness which would only be obtainable through non conventional means. The plan was to develop a virus able to be put inside of tablets which were mostly bought by elderly people in the region and that was the only way to obtain it. The plan was to cull or purge an age range from 70+ and bring it down further in the future. The problem was it turned out to be contagious in the testing stage due to a tester meeting people when he should not have. The virus began to transfer to people being unfinished and it wasn't working how intended.

Recognition of disruption

Smith realised what had happened after an unknown illness began to spread only seriously affecting the elderly and harming people with an outlying illness more than a standard person who felt it was nothing more than a common cold. His culling virus now named Virus-7 due it's development time was spreading through China and becoming known to the outside world. Smith left China before all transport was ceased and he began to search for a way to contact the Prime minister and possibly other strong powers in the world and explain what had happened. The problem was the only way he could think of was contacting a large news company to Catch peoples eye but showing himself in public wouldn't work for him when he thought he was also being followed to be silenced. 

Attempt to solve disruption

Smith gave in and decided it was more of a risk to the people if he didn't say what he knew then if he said nothing and lived peacefully. He managed to get an interview with the largest TV channel in the Uk at the current moment of time and gave his speech. This worked catching the Governments eye and they became willing to hear him out, his plan was to get the information on how he made the virus and his references to research facilities looking to make a vaccine.

New Equilibrium

Smith never succeeded in getting the information to who he wanted to after skeptics and professionals doubted his truth and began to think he was a crazy man who got the credentials of a professional. The world would stay fearing a mystery virus for the near future

3. The mood is a dark and serious one having internal Government warfare and a global panic. The costumes being smart attire to show the importance of the people on the screen using suits or formal clothing.

4. Having the camera on a tripod or Steadicam would be best as it gives clear view of the characters and I feel as though the film due to it's "Disaster" would be more dialogue heavy than a decent amount of other films.

5. I do not honestly think there is some moral message to this film or an inner meaning

The Equilibrium starts of with the world at a normal state no one suspects anything to change as far as anyone else is concerned China is it's usual self and they will be able to travel for holidays further in the year. In this part you would see the main character going to work as usual and being portrayed as a normal scientist. Set in present day.

In the disruption a virus has begun to appear in China being extremely deadly to any who are elderly and is a concern for anyone else to a slightly less extent. The main character has more revealed about himself showing his work and how he used to live. The world slowly starts to realise this virus is a serious threat. The setting will be England alongside introducing characters who the main character used to work for.

In the recognition of the disruption the setting fully changes to England and shows side characters such as scientists to show the severity of the virus. This is set only a week after the disruption. The idea of the virus to cull the elderly is revealed to the audience and the creator who messed up was the main character. 

In the attempt so solve the disruption the main character goes through methods to try and reveal what the truth is to the world and to make the government to recognise the serious threat of this virus.

In the new equilibrium the virus stayed as Smith failed to get his message across leaving the virus around making it he new normal.

• The Hero is Mark Smith leading as he attempts to solve the problem he caused.
• The Villain is the Part of the Chinese government who attempt to silence Mark.
• The Donor will be a man in England who after meeting Mark attempts to help him get in contact with either the government or a news station
• The dispatcher is the same man as the Donor as he pushes Mark to try and fix his problem.

Synopsis of film 

Film Title - Virus Seven 

In a world thrust into chaos a new threat arises, a deadly virus strikes and society is thrown into chaos. With only one man (Robert Downey Jr) able to fix this problem watch if he can get the truth to the publics attention, or will the virus roam free striking down any who are unlucky enough to catch it. Watch the journey unfold of a scientist who becomes humanities last hope of returning to any normal. Witness the breathtaking thrill of the disaster unfold and the strongest powers of the world go into a chaotic disruption. 

1. "I'm hungry"

Have a distant shot showing the character putting there hand on their stomach then changing into a close up pan of the characters eyes and mouth turning too a grin as it pans to either food or a food place with the character reaching their hand out showing they have a desire for food. 

2. "I've lost the cat"

Mid shot of a character who begins frantically looking around with a distressed look in their eyes and then turn into a long shot on the ground of the person searching for the cat looking on the ground in small gaps and crevices of the size a cat could fit into.

3. "I'm so tired"

The character having slow movements with a annoyed expression on their face. The character putting their hand over their mouth then slacking their movements of bringing their arm down. The shot would be a long shot at a low angle.

4. "I'm late for school"

Person looking distressed with a mid shot showing the expressions on their face whilst the frantic movement on the characters arms to get ready.

5."I'm really annoyed with her"

A close up to show the expression of annoyance in the eyes of the character and then switching to a long shot showing the character sat down with their arms crossed visibly showing they were annoyed at something. Shows the character a distance away from the woman the person is annoyed with her.
