L/O: To identify the features on a magazine front cover:; to explore genre codes and conventions






































  • Have Masthead in top section 
  • Mostly have the Main image covering Masthead
  • Main image has person with a serious facial expression
  • Nearly all have some form of expensive clothing  or item on shown in the close up clothing shot
  • Most tagline's on the left with names on the right, some still have tagline on left
  • Have white or grey/black backgrounds with different coloured text

The cover uses four different font styles
The cover lines are made to look different in colour and size
The cover lines are block caps
The cover lines are angular 
The cover lines are placed on each side around the main image


EBI- the cover lines had a clear main cover line rather than being similar mostly in size
WWW- The masthead and main image worked well on the background

    This is great. All I would say is, try not to have cover lines covering the face of your model
