The purpose of Media is to communicate, to show people something like a film or advertisement. It spreads a message. Media is to entertain and inform but most of all it is to make money.

Media Influence

To me media influence happens I do believe half the things on the news as long as they sound reasonable but on another side of it with say a large streamer or youtube I watch promotes something I am probably going to trust that product.
The media influence is strong as people trust people with a large following and believe that they can usually be trusted, I also normally think this.
I think the best recent show of powerful media was BLM after George Floyd's death which gathered many numbers in a movement.
