Medium long shot
The medium long shot has been chosen and used on this poster. This shot allows a show of key parts of the poster such as his gun which you would not be able to see as well if it was a long shot. Not only this but it connotes that the movie is a spy film most likely with action. If a medium shot was used it would take away the benefit of having a shadow in the back, which shows normally secrets and unrevealed parts of the character. This entices people to watch the movie as not only is it action a popular genre it makes you want to know more.
Mise-en-scene
In this poster Bond's clothing is different from most other Bond films as he is not in a suit, this time he is in rich looking clothes to connote possible more grittiness with a tight underlay, this underlay connotes he as a character is physically fit. Bond also has a gun, the gun is a sign of him most likely fighting someone, and the way he holds it over the gun sheath to also connote this. There is also Bond's classic watch purposely shown with a sleeve rolled up not only being product placement but also a familiar sight to previous fans of the films. As well as that the background is a blank gold wall this shows wealth in the colour it also does not show the location the film is in. Bond wears a strong facial expression in this poster which shows a clear anger and determination.
Soundtrack
In the trailer for the film there is a diegetic sound kept in of Champagne glasses clinking together. This shows Bond has upper class, he has Champagne and it is not just him there is more upperclass around him. This is also a very common trope in spy films to have Champagne glasses make a sound or be there in a scene.
Editing
The transitions used were a fade to black, this fade to black is a way to show a change in place or time most likely implying place and time change a lot in this film. The cuts at the end were paced faster than most of the earlier trailer, this builds up a sense of suspense and shows it is coming to a end.

(at around 10:10 I had been logged out of the ssl page, I had forgot to leave the tab open with it on so without thinking I refreshed the page. That lost the work on Tenet and the start of the Batman for today so this is a quick remember of what it was)
In The film Tenet the soundtrack is used to show the themes mainly at the start. At the start of trailer we see a clear scene of the audio reversed, this scene is in water which makes it even clearer. This scene can connote the potential themes of abnormal time travel type happenings, this would show the theme of the film to anyone watching. This is done well with the opening of the trailer as not only does it show a viewer there is a abnormal element in the film, Tenet makes the theme easy and clear to see.
The trailer also includes editing with the use of CGI reversing scenes. This is linking into the element of the themes of reversal, this is shown mainly in a scene of a gun receiving bullets instead of shooting them but also shown at the opening shot in the water with water reversing to where it would have previously been. With the gun as well, we see the theme of it being an action film.

camerawork
In this scene of The Batman the camerawork was used in a close up on Batman. The scene shows for a starter the actor, this actor has potential to bring views and people to see the film. The other part of this is the show of a gritty Batman, this connotes the idea of this film being a dark film. We can see a easier sign of the darker element of a film from the emotion shown in this shot, a angered looking Batman, normally a emotion to show something bad will happen.
